I was vacuuming the house and Lori was playing with Bryn. When I got done this what I found. I had to take a picture. Lori had dance class maybe it wore her out.

Celebrating 35 Years of Marriage

Dad and Mom Bird have been married 35 years on January 27th.

While they were here we decided to celebrate. We made them a "special dinner" and had cake and ice cream. We (even the kids helped) had fun planning and making dinner.

Their wedding colors were orange and yellow. They also had chocolate cake. Lori of course was most excited about the cake. :)

Playing Guitar Hero

Dad and Mom Bird came for the weekend. We had lots of fun visiting with them.

Ty wanted to show them how to play Guitar Hero. The kids were shocked when Grandpa and Grandma started singing all the songs. (most of the songs are music they rocked out to)

Grandma plays the guitar a little already. So of course she thought it was a GREAT game.

Grandpa let her play and he and Lori sang.

It was a fun night. As you can see.

Our Baby is Growing...6 months

As you all know on January 18th Bryn turned 6 months. We cannot believe how fast time is going by and how big Bryn is getting.

Lori wanted to take a picture with her. They are so cute!!! Lori decided that since it was Bryn's "6 month Birthday" we better have a Birthday cake. Anytime Lori can have Birthday cake is a good day for her.

Dad and Mom Bird came into town so we had two things to celebrate that day.

Soccer Awards

A few weeks ago we had Ty's soccer awards. Sorry the 2nd picture is not focused. (That's what happens when you are holding two girls and a camera :) )

Ty had a tough year but still had fun.

Snow in Palmdale...What?

Ty wanted to make a snow angel so bad. He got on the tramp to do it. We had fun this morning. By the time Lori woke up it was gone.

By the time we got up it was almost gone. As Ty said "at least we got something". With all the rain we got this weekend Ty has been hoping for snow. Our foothills got a lot. It finally looked like winter this morning as I took Ty to school.

Welcoming in 2008.....

Celebrating 2008... making noise and blowing their horns. TJ brought popper also. They had lots of fun. It was 32 degree when we went out. We did not stay out long.

Lori, TJ and Ty were so excited for New Year's. We played games, ate, watched a move and watched the ball drop. We even went outside and made lots of noise. We meet some of our neighbors out there. It was fun. The kids sleep in until 9:30am in next morning. YEAH!!!

Bryn celebrated the New Year right. She was sleeping. :)

Motorcycle Riding....

Our neighbors Grandson came home to visit her "Grandma." (he moved to Texas this summer. Lori misses him being here to play with) Joe has a "motorcycle" he let Lori ride it. She had lots of fun.

Christmas Day!!

Ty got this shirt from Zack's brother Craig and family. Craig and family spent lots of time in Salt Lake City, Utah is passed year. They went to lots of Jazz games. Craig loves to give Zack and Ty a bad time. He tells them that Jazz and UofU are the Best. They have a fun time with it. Zack also got a U of U t-shirt. He uses it for his work outs.

Lori got this dog and carry case from G&G Bird. She always ask her Grandpa Bird how Max's is doing. She loves playing with Max when we are in Colorado. She loves her new dog!!

We are do mad with taking pictures Christmas morning. We did not get any of Bryn opening the her gifts before she feel asleep.

Bryn was the first one up. Then Ty and we had to wake Lori up.

Bryn opened gifts for about 30mins. and then she feel asleep.

Christmas Eve

We got Guitar Hero for Christmas from G&G Barlow. We let the kids play a few games before bed. Yes, I'm in the back ground cleaning the kitchen.

We love playing Guitar Hero. I have even found myself playing with Zack and Ty.

Mom, Hallie (Todd's daughter) Grandma Jex, Bryn, Melinda and Lori.

All the girls were together on Dec. 23rd for our California Barlow Christmas Dinner. Garrett was the only boy home this year. We missed McKay's family, Brock and Todd.

4 Generations

Kate picked up Jared and TJ and came out to our house for the BYU vs. UCLA game. We had lots of fun playing and watching the game. This picture was taken right after BYU Won!!

We did find out that Bryn does not like when we yell out and scream. We had to keep it more quite for her.

12 days of Christmas....

Opening day 10... $10 to In and Out. YEAH!!!

This year Melinda had our name for Christmas. She did the 12 days of Christmas for us.
On day 5 we opened 5 BYU t-shirts for us all.
We loved all of our gifts. Some of the favorites were 6 bowls of cold cereal, 9 packs of gum, 8 - popcorn bowls and popcorn. Melinda thank you so much!!! Ty and Lori loved opening something everyday. GREAT idea!!

Ty as -- "Hollie Jollie"

Ty's class put on a Christmas program on Dec. 19th & 20th. There were lots of other classes in the school that also put on a performance.

Ty's class did a "Traditional Christmas". He was very excited. He tried out for some of the bigger parts but did not get them. He was a "Hollie Jollie" He did a GREAT job.

Lori's Christmas Dance Class

Lori started taking a dance class through our parks and rec. the first of Dec.

She has had 3 classes and loves it.

On Dec. 19th. They had there Christmas Performance. Each girl was suppose to wear their Christmas Dress. Lori did not want to because her skit "does not spin big". She wanted to wear her Christmas shirt and jean skirt.

I video taped the dance. She was way cute and loves to watch herself in the mirror. (my Dad said I use to look in the mirror all the time also.)

She starts dance again this week and cannot wait.

We love our Lori!!

5 month picture
