Young Men Activity

We had a tradeout with the Class A Red Sox Affiliate - Lancaster Jethawks. Their pitching coach, Bob Kipper, stayed at our hotel at a discount in trade for a few nights of luxury box games. Tonight was one and no one from work was able to go so I took all the Young Men from our ward. They seemed to have a good time as one got a ball, several got shirts, and all had fun. Oh and it was $1.00 hot dog night so you should have seen some of the young men eat.

Bryn's First Dodger Game

Thank you Dave for the tickets to Monday's Dodger game against the Nationals. We had a great time and Ty and Lori tried for autographs but came up empty. Dodgers won however and again, the family had a great time!

Let's see if anyone reads this..

Day 2 of the Blog experiment:

Well, after hunkering down the enemy is close at hand. Losing all of those men has been tough but we still have Koslowski, Jones, Hipski, and myself. In our planning sessions we feel that if we can just wait until it's hot enough the enemy will come out for water. When they do we will be ready. My only worry is that Jones may be getting a bit stir crazy and that can lead to mistakes. If only that deer hadn't been so viscious we would never have lost Jenkins. Oh the day they need water: we will win!!

Good News!

Yesterday Bryn, Lori and I went to Children's Hospital for Lori's check up. She got an X-Ray also.
She is doing GREAT! Her x-ray came back good. Her Dr. said she looks great and is getting all her color back. She is growing like a weed. Since February she has gain 10 lbs. and grown about 4 inches.
Her nurses could not believe how great she looks.
We now go down every 3 month with taking an x-ray each time.
Lori was on cloud 9 showing off Bryn to everyone. She also got to push her in the stroller and that made her world.
We had a fun "girl day".

Bryn went into the Dr. last Friday. She has an infection in her eye. She is on eye drops and is doing well. She is 8lbs. 3 oz. now. She has also decided she does not like to sleep as long at night. (we are working on getting that changed)
She is so cute and we LOVE having her here.
Ty and Lori are so cute with her. Lori wants her to get up and play toys with her.
The other day I was doing dishes and I turned around and Lori was reading books to Bryn. She said "Bryn likes me to read to her Mom". So cute!!

Ty spent ALL day at Nathan's yesterday. He loved that.
Ty is looking in the mail box everyday to find out who his new teacher will be. He starts school on Sept. 5th. He is excited. Soccer has started and his team is navy blue and black. He has 9 more goals and he will earn his wolf bag in scouts.
Zack has been teaching Ty how to mow the lawn so he can start doing that in the next year or so. He loves it as of now. (We know that will change)
