Back Games

Bryn was playing different games like rail road crossing on Aunt Shelly's back. It was so cute. She was having so much fun.

Sunday Afternoon

Lori wanted us to take a picture of her on the steps walking down. She said it's like she is a Princesses.

Bryn and Zack -- relaxing while we walked around St. George Temple.

Our kids at the top of the stairs at St. George Temple. Bryn started walking down with no help so Ty grabbed her for me. :)

Sleeping....

Ty and Lori slept on a blow up in the office while we were in St. George. Ty woke up every morning saying Lori loves to sleep right by him or even on top of him.
Zack and I laugh. When Ty and Lori sleep with us (when Zack or I are out of town) They do the same thing to us. Oh how I love to have a knee in my back. NOT!
Anyway when Zack and I checked on the kids this is what we found.
How cute are they!!

Playing at the Park

The kids were having fun running races. It was hot. Lori had a big head start. She can run so fast. She loves wearing skirts. Many days she is a total girls. But many more she is a tom boy. Lori loves to be just like her Ty.

Ty and Lori were bugging Shelly to run a race with them. I had to get a picture. She is a good sport.

Lori learned how to do the monkey bars all by herself. She was having so much fun.

We love our children! They are so much fun.

Making Pinewood Derby Cars

We went to St. George, UT to visit with Zack's Grandma and Grandpa Bird. His sister Shelly also lives there. Dad and Mom Bird came also so we could see them.
Grandpa Bird has all the tools for cutting wood. Ty and I brought our pinewood derby cars to cut. Ty and Lori had a blast with their Dad and Grandpa's.
Ty made two cars and Zack made me a Dodger pick up truck.

Getting our Garden Ready

It's spring break!!
Growing up we always wanted to have a break during spring break. My Mom always said "It's time for projects". I did not always like that. So what do I do to my son?......... It's time to work!
My goal this year is to learn how to garden. We are working on cleaning up all of those wonderful weeds. Oh how I love weeds! NOT!!!
The first picture you can see some of our progress.
The second picture Ty took this picture of himself. Gotta love it. :)

We love Grandma Jex!

Grandma has been here in California since November. It's been fun to be able to see her more often. She leaves tomorrow to go back home. My aunt and uncle will stay with her and help her health care.
We stopped by my Uncle Gordon's to say goodbye and give our Grandma a big hug and kiss.
WE LOVE YOU Grandma!!

Ty's Baseball

Ty playing catcher. They had lots of fun. Ty did very well and they won this game.

What a cute girl! She loves to go to Ty's games. Bryn also loves to wear her Dodger sweatshirt.

Yes, my son hit the ball. He loves to play baseball.

Cousin Time

Alisa, Carly and Anna came out to see one of Ty's Basketball games. Little did Alisa know that she would be watching 4 of her nieces that morning. I had our Annual Relief Society Celebration that morning. (I am the Enrichment leader) I was gone all morning.
I missed Ty's last game. It was pretty cold out side so I thought it would be fun to play the Wii.
Ty along with the girls played. Anna got the hang of it right away. They played bowling. Carly liked to cheer better. Alisa took her place so they were on a team now.
They had lots of fun. It was great to see my sister Alisa and her weird moves. She did great though.
Lori had so much fun having Anna and Carly come to her house.

Dodger Ball

We love that Ty's team is the Dodgers. He will be on this team for 3 years. I have gone a little crazy getting us all Dodger shirts and sweatshirts. It's nice that our Wal-Mart carries them all at a good price. Go Dodgers!!!!

Bryn and Lori having fun at their brothers game. They run around and chase each other. Ty has moved up a league and now his games start at 7:30pm - 10:00/10:30pm at night. It can be long nights. I make sure both girls get a 2 hrs nap on game days. :)

Ty is scoring in this picture. The top picture is when he hit the ball. They have a new rule that you cannot have a flash on when taking a picture. (I hate this rule) So my pictures are not very good. You do what you can right??

Rag Quilt -- for Ruby

Back of quilt

Front of quilt.
I have been wanting to learn how to make rag quilts. I called Aunt Karen for help. She made Lori one.
Karen and I made this quilt for my niece Ruby, who was born March 17th. Her parent are Craig and Keri Bird. Keri and Ruby are both doing well. We are so happy for them.
The quilt was fun to make. It turned out so cute! Karen has lots of fun fabric.

It's Baseball Season....

Coach Jim Carson and Ty. This is Ty's first game. He had some GREAT hits. They won!! I love watching Ty play baseball. He reminds me so much of my brothers Garrett and Brock. When he is behind the plate catching he looks just like Brock. When he runs the bases he looks just like Garrett.
Can you tell he grew up watching three of his uncles play ball. It is in his blood. He would play all day everyday if he could.

Tent

Zack and I check on our kids every night before we go to bed. When we checked on Lori this is what she looked like. In the morning we asked her about her blanket. She said I was making a tent. She had it up for a while. This blanket was Zack's baby blanket.
How cute is our little Lori.

Playing Doctor....

Bryn was taking a nap and I was working in the office. It was way to quiet so I went to see what Lori was doing. She was "Playing Doctor". She was wrapping "tapping" up the chair. It was pretty funny. I just had to take a picture.
