Happy Birthday Shelly!

We also saw Zack's parents and sister. Shelly was having a birthday so Melinda had the whole family over for Birthday dinner. She made Apricot Chicken. It was good. We had cake and ice cream also. It's always great to be around family. We saw all 5 siblings that live in Utah. Thanks everyone!!!!

Visiting Grandma Jex

Zack and I were able to go on a weekend get away. :) We went to Utah. We were able to stop by and see Grandma.

I love visiting with Grandma. She is now 90 yrs. old. She is a great example to me. She raised five wonderful kids, the best my Mom of course. Grandma is a righteous daughter of God.

Dancing at the Fair

Lori is now to old to take Ms. Keri's dance class. She will be starting school and dance is in the morning. So June was Lori's last month.

Ms. Keri had her classes dancing at the AV Fair. She asked Lori to come back and help teach the younger girls the dance "Let's Go Fly a Kite".

Lori loves to dance. She had lots of fun!! Hope you enjoy our beautiful girl.

We woke up this morning to red skies. There are 4 fires going on around us. It is so bad. The air is dirty. They is ashes every where. Some say it's snowing in Palmdale. Snowing "Ashes".

I took this picture on top of the Carousel.

When we came into the Fair they gave us two free tickets for rides. I let Lori choose what ride she wanted to go on. She picked the Carousel Wheel. (I wish Zack was there. This ride did not help my dizziness)

Birthday Party

We went to our friends Jules and Ella's Birthday Party. It was so hot that all the kids got in a water fight and balloon fight. Bryn wore one of Ella's bathing suites. :) Thank heavens I brought extra clothes for the kids.

Rosell Family

Lori Rosell, Bryn, Hannah, Alissa, Lori Bird, Katie, Daniel and Ty.

Alissa is going on a Mission on 09-09-09. She is going to Idaho. The kids and I drove to Brea to visit with the Rosell's. We had tons of fun. On the way home the kids asked when can we go back and visit again.

Our Garden

This year in our garden we only got tomatoes and potatoes. Our potatoes were all very very small. Hopefully we will do better next year. We have gotten several tomatoes. Zack said the tomatoes are sweet and good.

Not to bad for our first year. Hopefully next year we have all of veggies grow. :)

Pack Meeting -- "Out Door Sports"

Ty is almost there. He will be getting his Webelos badge soon. He is working so hard. He passes things off every month. I am so happy for him.

We played a balloon volleyball, balloon toss and a balloon fight.

Lots of fun!!!

BBQ

We had BBQ tonight. Ty always gets so dirty eating ribs. I had to take a picture this time.
Lori and Bryn wanted there pictures taken also.
