Bryn got on Melinda's back first. Then she wanted Melinda to get on hers. Then Ty wanted to show Melinda he is strong enough to carry her.

Christmas!

Mom Bird made Ty and the girls snuggie. Ty's is Lakers and Lori and Bryn have Fancy Nancy.
They love them.

We gave Ty new baseball batting gloves. He wear them for a long time opening gifts. Too Funny!

I am the back of the train.

Christmas morning the kids come in our room first. We brush our teeth, comb our hair and say family prayers. Then Dad goes into the living room and make sure Santa came. :) This is our kids waiting for Zack. :) Zack is the front of the train, then youngest to oldest and I bring up the rear. We had lots of fun! It was a quite one this year.

Zack took a picture of the kids Santa gifts and of our tree. As you see we've been blessed again.

Opening Gifts

TJ, Jared and Ty all got Dodger gear from Grandma and Grandpa this year. They loved it!!

Nativity

We spent Christmas Eve with the Barlow's. They came to Palmdale. We went to dinner and then back to our house for the Nativity and opening Christmas gifts.

Ty played the piano for us as we sang. Most everyone took a part in the Nativity.

Wedding Day

Lynette Manson and Dewey Fisher were married tonight. I am the visiting teacher to Lynette and Zack the home teacher to the Fishers. They got engaged two weeks ago and decided Sunday that they wanted to be married Wednesday. It was a nice short ceremony. :)

Painting......

Along with the girls room Brock painted the hallway and entry way. Kate had the kids so we could work. So the first half of the day Brock and I were by ourselves. Ty was happy to help.

Painting the Girls Room

Brock came to visit us. His Christmas gift to us was helping me paint. (I've been wanting to paint for awhile) We had tons of prep work. The girls picked out the color pink. (I'm not a pink girl) Bryn and Lori LOVED it!!

Almost There

Ty is almost there. He was so happy. We figure he will pass her by summer. Rachel was feeling sad that her nephew was almost taller than her.
It's the small things that make us so happy some times.

Lori's School Chirstmas Party

We made foam gingerbread houses. We had a 5th grade class come help the Kindergartens. It was Ty's class so Lori was so happy. Bryn came and helped them also.

When the kids got done there was a visitor who came to visit.

They had lots of fun.

Arrow of Light Award

I added the ribbon to this arrow of all of the awards Ty has received in Cub Scouts. (I forgot a few, oh well)

This was a wonderful night for me. I have worked with Ty as one of his leaders in Cub Scouts for the last 3 years. I was so excited to see him get this award. He has worked very hard!

Ty earned he Arrow of Light award tonight. This is the Highest Award you can receive in Cub Scouts. It's been a long fun, happy road.
