Happy Birthday Mom Bird

Cousin Emily does hair for a living. She taught us girls the heart braid. Brenna and Lori look so cute. I need to try it again on Lori. We also learned the head band braid.

I love this picture of Mom Bird.

Since Mom Bird was in town we decided to have all the family over for cake and ice cream. Mom's birthday was two days later but she went home.

My Boys!!!

I know some of these pictures are not the best. These are some of my favorites of Zack and Ty. They have so much fun together. Ty looks a lot like a Barlow, but boy is he a lot like his Dad. They stand the same, walk the same (like my father in law) and lots more.

Piano Rectial

Ty with his sisters. Bryn had to be taken out she was so happy and loud after every song.

Ty with Grandma Bird (she came in town for a week. We had her moving and going the whole week. Every night was full of a game, dance, recital, cub scouts. Zack and I even got to go to the Temple and a nice dinner. Thanks Mom Bird!!!)

Ty also did a duet with another student. He happens to be a friend at church. They did well together.

Ty asked about 3 years ago to take piano. We could not do it then. He started Jan. 08. He does such a good job. 3 out of the 7 days a week he remembers to play on his own. The other 4 Zack and I remind him. He still is playing with a smile. (he knows I'll never let him quite)

He did an Indian song this year. Every well done!!!

Mexican Heritage

Ty's school did a Mexican Heritage week. On Thursday they did a dance performance. The girl Ty is dancing with has been in 4 of 5 classes since he start school. They are the tallest in their class.

Not Wanting to go to Bed

My mother in law as told me several times that Zack us to get up and not want to go to bed at night. Many times they would find Zack in the hallway asleep. Lori has done this same thing ever since she could get out of her bed. She thinks we have a party every night. I love her excuses: I forgot to give you a kiss, I need a drink, what are you watching, the TV is loud, I cannot hear anything, I smell popcorn. The list can go on and on. I finally got it on camera.

Let's Go Fly A Kite.....

Lori's dance class had the summer recital. They did a ballet dance to Let's Go Fly A Kite. She did such a GREAT job.

They are so cute together. Lori loves Brock so so so much.

We Love Baseball.....

Ty did get a hit. I just did not get it on camera.

Lori wanted to take some pictures this game. She took about 25. Most of them were of Brock's hat, ears, eyes or Bryn's head. She did take the picture of Brock below. We love digital cameras.

She did take this one of Ty playing 3rd and wanted to blog it. So cute.

We got a camcorder this year. Every year we get something for the family or house with our tax return. After going to Colorado and using Dad Birds, Zack new he wanted one. (so did I)

Brock came out for the weekend to visit before moving to Utah.

He was such a sport. He taped parts of Ty's game for me. How nice. When watching it later the best part was Brock's commentary. You're Great B!!

Cooling Off

Lori and Bryn just got new bathing suits for summer. Zack was working in the back yard so we let the girls jump and get wet. It was 95 degrees at 6:30pm tonight. Gottta love the Antelope Valley. NOT!!!!

Ty had another game. We love baseball!!!

I know the pictures are not great. The coolest thing about these pictures are Zack use to play on this same field when he was Ty's age. :) Ty thinks it's cool. Zack does but he also says that means I never got out of the AV. :(

Going Home

I am showing you these pictures because I think my family is so cute carrying there bags. Also we did it with only one suitcase, and two back packs. We pack light. :)

Bryn looks so cute. This bag was a little heavy for her but she would not let anyone else carry the bag.

Our weekend went by fast. We are very grateful that we were able to fly. It would of been a long long weekend to drive.

We had a GREAT time with our family.

Zack, Grandpa Bird, Shelly, Ty, Lori and Bryn all went golfing throughout the day. They went two different times. They had lots of fun.
